Véronique Arsenault
At once an entrepreneur at heart and a team player, Véronique’s energy, passion and vision are both inspiring and compeling. She is creative, pragmatic and a strategist all in one, dedicating herself wholeheartedly to the organizations and entrepreneurs she supports. Véronique sets her sights high but keeps her feet on the ground, while also taking care of her team, which is like a family to her.
With nearly 20 years of management and communication experience in a variety of sectors, Véronique is well-versed in the realities of organizations both large and small. She enjoys brainstorming complex issues and finding creative solutions to help her clients stand out. She has proven, sought-after expertise in strategic planning, the deployment of large-scale campaigns and managing organizational change, particularly around mergers and acquisitions.
Following stints in major corporations (Bell, TELUS), professional associations (Quebec Medical Association), and agencies (Morin Public Relations, NATIONAL), Véronique launched Exponentiel with the ambition of building an authentic, people-centred consultancy. When she launched the firm in 2015, Véronique was already the mother of twins and expecting a third child; she firmly believes that professional ambition and projects can coexist with a fulfilling family life.
A few years later, with nearly twenty employees, an expanding client base and a host of ongoing projects, Véronique aims for smart growth, the kind helps develop the business, its team members, the organizations they support, and society.
Véronique holds a degree in public relations from Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM), and has completed a host of leadership and management credentials over the years. Since 2021, she has held the PRP (Public Relations Professional) designation, awarded by the Quebec Public Relations Professionals Society (SQPRP). After several years as a director of the Association des galeries d'art contemporain (AGAC), she now sits on the board of directors of the Tout à Trac theatre company and on Leucan's Development and Communications Committee.
She loves life at Exponentiel because…
Exponentiel is an incredible adventure that always drives me and helps me grow as a woman and a leader. I love teamwork and multiplying the opportunities for it. In a consultancy, we’re learning each and every day, and we must share this knowledge. These sharing and collaborative instances are invaluable to me because they constitute an undeniable investment in Exponentiel's success. I want to dispel certain myths about agencies and consulting. I aspire to offer stability and a caring work environment, where all aspects of our lives can coexist; a setting where we can all perform, be energized and challenged, collaborate, and grow.
What’s most important to her
Everything to do with culture, entrepreneurship and women, and in particular, developing women’s leadership. As a mother and entrepreneur myself, I understand the importance of supporting and helping each other so we can get through both good and the challenging times. I’m very fortunate to have a support system that allows me to achieve my full potential. I want to help others do the same, and bring out the best of themselves. That’s why I'm involved with the Cercle des marraines et des parrains of Mères avec pouvoir, an organization that supports the development and well-being of low- and modest-income single mothers.
I’m curious, passionate and love the power of words. That’s why I take so much pleasure in sharing initiatives, businesses and entrepreneurs that resonate for me, by publishing in Premières en Affaires.
Her Exponentiel attitude: strategic innovation
I like to dream, create and innovate. That said, I also believe that fundamentally, our creativity must be inspired by our clients’ strategic objectives. The initiatives we recommend must achieve their purpose; everything must be aligned. That's when the magic happens.
